Purpose: Determination of the thermoplastics melt flow index by mass and volume.

The plastometer is designed for manually measuring the thermoplastics melt flow index by mass, automatically measuring the melt by mass and volume, and for measuring the thermoplastic viscosity.

The plastometer can be used for testing technical plastics with a high melting point (polycarbonate, fluoroplast, nylon), as well as for substances of low melting point (polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, ABS plastic).
